F4 USA Championship.   

With 16 years old, Christodoulou will be entering his second season in the F4 United States Championship season after a successful run this past year where he claimed one podium and five top-five results, finishing seventh in the championship. Now, Nico is focused on the 2021 F4 US Championship and continuing to pursue his passion and work towards his dream of becoming a professional race car driver.

We welcome Nick to the team with open arms and have no doubt that we will be able to help him achieve success. We have proven that our program works and that we can elevate drivers to the front of the field despite their experience. Nick has had some strong runs in the series and should be able to challenge for podium results and race wins.

USF2000 Road to Indy 

Erik is set to turn some heads in his first appearance in the USF2000 season following his impressive performance in last year. Evans, alongside his team Velocity Racing Development (VRD), scored four podium appearances. in the F4 USA Championship  finished seventh, fourth and second . Following the conclusion of the final race of the weekend and after podium celebrations were complete,


Hunter Yeany

At just 15 years old, Yeany set a new world record as the youngest driver to earn an FIA F4 title. In sealing the 2020 championship. Yeany’s title success came by leading 79 laps in 15 rounds, finishing the season with eight wins



VRD Academy 

Along with the launch of VRD Academy, Velocity Racing Development is pleased to announce that Nikita Johnson will be the first to join the new VRD Academy program. Joining the VRD Academy for a twelve-month term, Johnson will take part in all team test days alongside F4 United States Championship Powered by Honda team drivers before evaluation in late 2020 to determine his future direction.


Matt Round-Garrido

The 20 year-old graduated from karts in 2016 and raced FF1600 machinery in the UK for just over two years. He won the Star of Anglesey title in 2017, and the Northern Irish crown a year later alongside third place in the BRSCC National championship.  Matt has competed in USF2000 & claimed a podium position in Toronto 2019. 



VRD Academy 

Lockhart will begin his training in a VRD prepared Ligier JS F4 before making the karts to cars transition to the Formula 4 United States Championship in the future. 

We welcome him to the VRD Academy.  He is an accomplished karter and has his racing goals in place. With the proper training and guidance, I have no doubt that he will have not only a successful transition, but a winning one as well."
